CEDAR Audio appoints IPK Broadcast Systems as its distributor in Malaysia and Brunei.
Following its attendance at the PALA'99 Convention in Singapore, CEDAR Audio is extending and improving its dealer network in South East Asia. The first appointment to be confirmed is that of IPK Broadcast Systems, a Singapore-based company that provides comprehensive services to customers in the Television, Radio, Music and Multi Media industries in the region.
Peter Tang, General Manager at IPK, Singapore says this of his company's new dealership: "IPK Singapore is always on the move to bring innovative products to help clients improve their system performance and operational efficiency. It was love at first sight when Tan Kim Poh, our Business Development Manager experienced the phenomenal audio restoration capability of CEDAR at NAB 99 in Las Vegas."
"With CEDAR's help, Mr Tan conducted a mini roadshow to showcase CEDAR to several parties in Malaysia in June 99. This generated a lot of interest in the products so, with our appointment as dealer now agreed, we will stage a second roadshow in August to secure a number of promised orders. IPK Broadcast Systems is part of the IPK Group of companies, whose parent company is based in Reading, UK. It offers consultancy, design, installation and commissioning services, and supplies turnkey systems packages for film and TV studios, post-production, and outside broadcast vehicles. It also supplies TV and Radio Transmission Systems. The company has offices in Singapore, Bangkok, and the UK.
