CEDAR Asia Takes Over Distribution of all CEDAR Products for India

Following a record-breaking year of sales in South East Asia, CEDAR Audio Ltd has transferred distribution of its products into India from its Cambridge, UK head office to its Asian office in Bangkok. India joins Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, The Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Vietnam under the CEDAR Asia umbrella.

David Robinson, Regional Manager for CEDAR Asia, will be appointing additional dealers in India to handle sales into pro-audio, film, broadcast, and audio forensic markets. He says, "India is a huge country with a huge diversity of markets, and it's not reasonable to expect a single dealer to cover all of these. What's more, audio restoration and noise suppression has a huge range of applications, with users ranging from small studios and radio stations to huge government organisations. We need to support each of these in the correct fashion, and CEDAR Asia is ideally placed to develop the Indian market over the next few months."

Gordon Reid, Managing Director of CEDAR Audio attended Broadcast Asia 2002 to meet potential dealers for India and other Asian countries. He added, "David and I had a busy week in Singapore, and I was very pleased to have attended the show. We met several potential dealers - not just in India, but elsewhere - and I was impressed with many of them."

Real Image Media is the leading Pro Tools dealer in India, and is ideally placed to sell and support CEDAR for Pro Tools products."
