CEDAR Audio has shipped the first CEDAR Cambridge System to CEDAR Asia, based in Bangkok and Singapore. The System, which is destined for a security force in South East Asia, contains the complete set of CEDAR Cambridge processes, including the new DNS™, Declickle™, Declip and NR-4™ modules.

An unnamed source says, "We were looking very seriously at CEDAR for Windows when CEDAR Cambridge was launched. The new system is clearly superior for our line of work, containing simple but powerful noise reduction modules that can be used very effectively in time-critical situations, and the new NR-4, which will be very useful for analysing and transcribing surveillance recordings when they are sent from the field back to the laboratory."

David Robinson, Regional Manager for CEDAR in Asia, says, "We recently supported our dealers in China and India when they introduced CEDAR Cambridge at roadshows throughout their countries. The results were excellent, with significant interest from audio, broadcast, film and audio forensic customers. Asia seems destined to be a strong market for this long awaited new product, and I'm very excited about its potential."

Background to CEDAR Asia

CEDAR Asia was created in 2001 to develop the Company's presence in the region, and to establish a coherent dealer network reaching from Korea to Iran, and from China to Indonesia. The region is managed by David Robinson, who has bases in both Bangkok and Singapore. In the two years since his appointment, he has established numerous successful CEDAR dealerships, particularly in China and India, where CEDAR now supplies to the film, post and audio forensic markets.
